TERMS & CONDITIONS
Promotion Terms and Conditions:
- This promotion (the "Promotion") is organized and sponsored by Cigna Worldwide General Insurance Company Limited ("Cigna"). The Promotion is valid from 1st Jan 2021 to 31st Dec 2021, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
- To qualify for the Promotion, a customer (the "Referrer") must refer a friend or family member (the "Referee") to purchase a Cigna HealthFirst Elite Medical Plan, or a Cigna VHIS Series Flexi Plan (SMM) or a Cigna VHIS Series Flexi Plan (Superior) (the “Dedicated Plan(s)”) within the Promotion Period based on the steps as follows (each a "Successful Referral"):
i. The Referee successfully applies for the Plan via Cigna’s telemarketing channel and provide the referrer’s name and the corresponding phone number/ email address correctly (based on Cigna's record); and
ii. A policy of the relevant application is underwritten and issued by Cigna (each an “Eligible Policy”) on or before 28th Feb 2022 and the Eligible Policy is not cancelled within the cooling off period.
iii. The Referee under an existing policy of the same Plan which was cancelled within the previous 12 months and re-applied for the same Plan are not eligible for the Promotion. - The Referee must not be an existing policyholder of any of Cigna insurance products.
- The Referee must be aged 18 or above.
- Each Referee can be referred for one Successful Referral only.
- The Referee is entitled to respective discount on the first year premium of the relevant Eligible Policy (the "Referee Reward") upon a Successful Referral. Please refer to the promotion materials on Cigna website (https://www.cigna.com.hk/iwov-resources/docs/MGM-discount-table.pdf)
- The Referee Reward cannot be used in conjunction with other premium discount offer on the Dedicated Plan.
- The Referrer must be an existing policyholder of any Cigna insurance products.
- The number of Successful Referral per Referrer is unlimited.
- For each Successful Referral, the Referrer is entitled to respective worth of supermarket vouchers (the "Referrer Reward") subject to the plan being applied. Please refer to the promotion materials on Cigna website (https://www.cigna.com.hk/iwov-resources/docs/MGM-discount-table.pdf)
- The Referrer Reward will be mailed to the Referrer’s last known correspondence address (based on Cigna’s record) within 4 months from the issue date of the Eligible Policy.
- The vouchers for the Referrer Reward is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the suppliers. Where Cigna is not the supplier of the vouchers, it shall not be liable in any way whatsoever in relation to any aspects for the use of the vouchers, including but not limited to the service quality and supply.
- Both the Referrer Reward and Referee Reward cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash. If Cigna cannot provide the said gift voucher(s) for any reasons, Cigna reserves the right to replace the said voucher(s) with other voucher(s) in the same face value.
- Cigna is not liable for any loss, damage, delay, non-delivery or mis-delivery of the rewards during the delivery process by post.
General Terms and Conditions:
- Personal information of the Referee collected under this referral program will be used for the purpose of this Promotion only. Cigna will not use and transfer the Referee’s personal information for any other direct marketing purposes.
- The record of relevant referral, policy application and eligibility of referral rewards are based on the record of Cigna.
- All application(s) for the Plan(s) are subject to underwriting and approval by Cigna. Cigna reserves the right to accept or decline any application.
- Cigna reserves the right to change any of the terms and conditions of the Promotion or discontinue the Promotion at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes, Cigna’s decision shall be final.
- The terms and conditions apply to this Promotion only. The Plan is subject to its terms. For details of the features, contents, terms, conditions and exclusions of the Plan, please refer to relevant product brochure(s) and policy provision(s).
- The English version of the terms and conditions of the Promotion and Offer shall prevail if there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions.
