Cigna Healthcare HYROX Hong Kong Returns with Nearly 20,000 Racers and Expanded Festival Experience

HYROX returns to Hong Kong May 8–10 at AsiaWorld-Expo, with Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong back as title sponsor and the debut of HYROX House.

April 29, 2026, HONG KONG – Cigna Healthcare HYROX Hong Kong is set to take place at AsiaWorld-Expo from May 8 to 10, welcoming more than 19,500 racers across three days – doubling last year’s participation. With Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong returning as title sponsor for the third consecutive year, reinforcing a shared commitment on supporting healthy and active lifestyles through connected experiences across Hong Kong’s diverse communities.

Participants of Cigna Healthcare HYROX Hong Kong will take on singles, doubles and relay formats designed to be challenging yet accessible for all fitness levels. Last year’s 99% completion rate reflects HYROX’s challenging yet inclusive design, welcoming racers of different experience levels to compete within a standardised format.

The upcoming race will welcome racers from 60 countries and regions, with top-performing athletes, including Hong Beom Seok, Kim Dong Hyun and Yoshio Itoi, reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a regional hub for global fitness events.

This year also marks the Hong Kong debut of HYROX House, the ultimate pre- and post-race destination, adding a new vibrant dimension to the event’s experience. Open through the weekend, it offers an elevated festival-style atmosphere focused on recovery, refueling and celebration. The space will feature curated food and beverage options, a live entertainment lineup with renowned artists and DJ sets, as well as a dedicated recovery area for racers. HYROX House extends the HYROX lifestyle beyond the competition floor, creating an environment where the community can connect, recover and celebrate together.

Building on its Hong Kong debut last year, HYROX’s Adaptive category continues to gain momentum in 2026, with registrations growing to over 20 athletes. Designed to give athletes with permanent functional impairments the opportunity to participate inclusively, the Adaptive divisions ensure that HYROX's standardised race format is truly a race for everybody.
