Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong has upgraded its Cigna Cathay Premier Health Plan (the “Plan”) with new benefits. The enhanced Plan provides comprehensive global medical coverage, with expanded healthcare options empowering its customers to make healthcare choices according to their needs.

There is growing utilization and improved perception of the use of healthcare within Mainland China among Hong Kong residents. Customers in Hong Kong are now enjoying wider treatment options as the connection within the Greater Bay Area (GBA) strengthens, and it becomes easier and more convenient to travel within the region.

Revamped Cigna Cathay Premier Health Plan supports GBA integration while allowing wider range of cancer treatment options

In response to the evolving healthcare needs across the GBA, Cigna Cathay Premier Health Plan now offers coverage of up to HKD 600,000 per policy year for Phase 3 Clinical Trial Drugs for Designated Cancers. Coverage has also been expanded to include all Tier 3 hospitals in Mainland China, as well as hospitals on the designated list, broadening access to advanced treatment options and cross‑border care.

All plan levels are entitled to comprehensive medical coverage at standard private room outside Hong Kong and Macau, including Mainland China. It also offers an annual benefit limit of up to HKD 30 million, supported by services such as Cigna Telehealth Service and ongoing customer support via Care Manager Service² and Chloe, the WhatsApp virtual assistant.
