Hong Kong Sevens, is coming up real soon! Are you excited for the game? For many of us, it also means having to gear ourselves for the big party. Whether it’s your first time watching the game or you’re an old-timer, it’s time to refresh ourselves on some rules to be a good sports spectator.
1. Do bring sunscreens and sunglasses
The weather is forecasted to be warm and sunny during the rugby weekend. Long exposure under the sun can cause sunburn and wrinkled our skin. Protect your skin by making sure that you bring along sunscreen and apply it before and during the game. Sunglasses help to keep all ultraviolet light from getting into your eyes and protect your eyes from painful sunburns.
2. Do eat ahead
Most tend to overindulge during the game. Have some nutritious snack or a small meal before heading over. When you’re feeling full, you’ll be more likely to resist those unhealthy bites available at the field. Your throat will also get dry from all the shoutings and cheering, bring a full bottle of water with you if you would rather not pay for the over-priced water at the Stadium.
3. Do watch over for your family & friends
Things may get chaotic at large sporting events like these. Ensure you, your families and friends are safe. Control your drinking portion and keep distance from wild fans.
If you are feeling ill or somehow injured, seek medical assistance.
Most of all, enjoy yourself and have loads of fun!
