The incumbent will provide leadership, strategic direction and direct management to all aspects of technology initiatives that support business strategies of CIGNA Hong Kong. This includes but not limited to IT project planning / management, execution, timing, functionality, quality and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the HKIT team to deliver various IT initiatives as pertain to the implementation of IT related business solutions timely and effectively;
• Work with and ensure proper project/action planning for user departments to ensure desired business results;
• Work closely with Regional IT teams for IT guidance and project implementation;
• In conjunction with business teams, directs the E-commerce initiatives of the company;
• Develops business-continuing plans to ensure minimization of business disruption;
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to uplift effectiveness.
Requirements:
• Degree holder or above in Computer Science or related discipline with at least 15 years of IT experience of which minimum 8 years in managerial level;
• Experience in international environment and familiar with matrix organization with exposure in insurance industry;
• Solid cross-functional broad experience in various IT areas such as network, ERP, telephony, program management and project management is a must;
• Proactive, self-motivated, with strong analytical, strategic and problem solving skills;
• Strong people management with good interpersonal skills;
• Determination and perseverance, willingness to drive for results through many obstacles;
• Good command of spoken & written English & Chinese;
• Knowledge of DM/TM process flows, web based engines, CAPSIL and Oracle is helpful.
