Major Exclusions
(1) Wear and tear, mildew, mold, moisture, rot, corrosion, rust, gradually deterioration, market depreciation, the action of light or atmosphere and gradually operating causes.
(2) Theft or attempted theft not accompanied with forcible or violent entry to or exit from the home leaving visible marks.
(3) Breakdown and / or mechanical malfunction of electrical appliances and computer equipment.
(4) Leaving property behind and unattended.
(5) Wilful act, deliberate act, recklessness, malicious acts or vandalism.
(6) Fines, penalties, punitive or exemplary damages.
(7) Any act of terrorism.

Terms and conditions:
  1. This insurance plan is underwritten by Blue Cross (Asia-Pacific) Insurance Limited ("Blue Cross"), an authorized insurer in Hong Kong, and distributed by its authorized agent, CIGNA Worldwide General Insurance Company Limited ("CIGNA").
  2. Offer is only applicable to members who purchase the individual plan(s) through the specific designated channels provided by CIGNA.
  3. Offer is available only to Asia Miles members who are Hong Kong residents.
  4. Membership of Asia Miles is mandatory. Please enter your Asia Miles membership number in the field of 'Membership Number' on the insurance plan application form to enjoy this offer.
  5. Asia Miles will be credited to the member's account within four to six weeks after issue of policy.
  6. For after sales services of the above general insurance products, please contact our designated Customer Service Hotline at 3608 2996 (9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, except Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays).
  7. Please refer to the actual policy for detailed terms and conditions.
  8. If policyholder(s) cancel their policy(ies) within the covered period, Blue Cross will offer partial refund of the premium subject to short period rate or minimum premium, whichever is higher, provided that no claim has been made during the period of insurance.
  9. If policy(ies) is(are) cancelled within the covered period, CIGNA shall charge the policyholder(s) HK$500 as handling fee.
  10. CIGNA and Cathay Pacific Loyalty Programmes Ltd accept no liability for quality of goods and services provided by Blue Cross.
  11. Other Asia Miles terms and conditions apply.
  12. In the event of conflict or discrepancy, the English version shall prevail over the Chinese version.
