Employment Related Personal Information Collection Statement
All employment related information/data collected by CIGNA Worldwide Life Insurance Company Limited / CIGNA Worldwide General Insurance Company Limited (hereinafter called "Our Company") will be used for:

  • assessing the suitability of application for vacancy within Our Company;
  • considering offers to the successful applicants;
  • general management purposes; and
  • all other incidental and associated purposes relating thereto.

The completion of all items on the Application Form is obligatory for the further processing of the application. Failure to provide sufficient or accurate information may influence the processing and outcome of the application.
The information/data provided by applicants will be kept confidential and only be provided to:

  • Our Company's authorized persons who are directly responsible for the recruitment of that specific vacancy during the recruitment processes;
  • any branch, subsidiary, holding company, associated company or affiliate of Our Company (situated in Hong Kong or otherwise);
  • any other person under a duty of confidentiality to Our Company which has undertaken to keep such information confidential;
  • any person to whom Our Company is under an obligation to make disclosure under the requirements of any law binding on our Company or any of its branches; and
  • (only in case the offer is accepted) any agent, contractor, or third party who provides administrative, telecommunications, computer, insurance, retirement scheme or other services to Our Company or any its subsidiary, holding company, associated company or affiliate in connection with the operations of its business.

Our Company may from time to time transfer the information/data provided outside Hong Kong for different purposes including processing and storage.
The information/data of unsuccessful applicants will be retained by Our Company for a period of no longer than twelve (12) months. Our Company may transfer such information/data to any its subsidiary, holding company, associated company or affiliate company, whether they are in Hong Kong or outside Hong Kong, when there are vacancies during that period for their consideration.
The applicant has the right to request for access to and/or correction of his/her personal data concerning his/her application. Requests can be made in writing to Privacy Data Protection Officer at 25/F, Sunning Plaza, 10 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Our Company has a right to charge an administrative fee at maximum of HK$100.00 for processing any such request.
Nothing herein shall limit the rights of applicants under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
