Under the direction of the Director of Sales and Business Development and Senior Manager Partner Acquisition, the incumbent is responsible for the profitable growth and development of Business Partner relationships (new) across all channels. The incumbent will realize the profitable potential of Business Partners relationships through: Identifying Suitable Prospects, Establishing mutually beneficial Opportunities, Preparing Profitable Business Proposition, Developing Innovative Products, Budgeting and Planning, Planning Launch Program Tactics, Analyzing Response, Communicating and liaison with Partner communication & liaison and Contributing to the Business Plan Creation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the Senior Manager in identifying, targeting, soliciting, prospecting and securing new profitable business partners as well as maximize existing distribution channels with existing Sponsors/Business partners;
• Initiate new ideas in generating sales leads for the company to conduct profitable direct marketing campaigns through all channels;
• Develop and recommend measurable production and profit objectives, which can be achieved through all channels. This includes budgeting and forecasting activities as well as analysis by Business Partner, channel of distribution & product line;
• Brief, negotiate with and ensure all internal and external parties agree on concepts, responsibilities, procedures and timetable for each program – oversee launch in conjunction with PRM;
• Protect the interests of CIGNA through the creation of appropriate Legal Agreements;
• Achieve revenue and profit targets together with the Senior Manager Partner Acquisition;
• Maintain effective and efficient communication channels with Business Partner;
• Creation, arrangement and adherence to specific Business Development process and sales management efficiency and effectiveness tools;
• Work closely with PRM on expanding existing sponsor / partner distribution channels to embrace broader mix and thus accelerate potential and realization of organic growth;
• Market competitor / intelligence re product, distribution and target market;
• Continuously seeking application of e.piphany tool / CVM to prospect and partner databases to enhance mutual business performance and benefit;
• Compilation and maintenance of pipeline, regional workbook and other activity management and reporting mechanisms.

Our ideal candidate will bring a Marketing / Communications / or related degree or equivalent work experience, 5-10 years of marketing experience in mid-size to large multi-national company organizations. Must be capable of multitasking with rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
